The design aimed to create a minimalistic, visually appealing mug that's easy to use. Inspired by Middle Eastern and Asian hot beverage traditions, the mug allows users to enjoy drinks at their preferred temperature effortlessly, using just one hand, while maintaining quality taste.
This mug is designed for practicality and ease of use. By pressing both edges of the top glass, air is pumped into the mug, allowing the hot beverage to flow through a straw into the glass saucer. The saucer's open design helps the drink cool quickly to an optimal temperature, while the remaining beverage stays hot in the mug for later sips.
Our mug offers two main uses. When seated, users can easily pour the hot beverage into the top glass saucer with one hand, then lift the glass to drink. The double-sided glass prevents burns while keeping the beverage hot. Its ergonomic shape ensures easy drinking without lifting the arm too high. The saucer can also act as a lid by flipping it upside down, keeping the inside clean and sealed. Additionally, the clear glass lets users visually check the quality and color of their drink.
The mug's second use is designed for on-the-go drinking. With one hand, you can pour the hot beverage into the top glass saucer and enjoy it at a comfortable temperature while moving, making it easy to drink without burning your mouth.
To keep the glass saucer secure, magnets are used to prevent rattling or falling. A magnet in the mug aligns with rust-free metal on the saucer, allowing it to stay connected for drinking or serve as a secure lid when flipped. Alignment is ensured by matching indicators on both the mug and saucer.
